I Was On Norma Kamali's Podcast!

Waking up one morning to an email from Norma Kamali was a real thing that happened. She’d read my Refinery29 piece about aging, and invited me to be a guest on her podcast, NORMALIFE! Extremely obviously I agreed.

Meeting Norma, apart from being a surreal experience, was an inspiring one. She’s easily the coolest person I’ve ever had a conversation with, let’s start there. She’s gorgeous, and I won’t insult her by saying she’s gorgeous for her age. She’s gorgeous for every age. At 74, she makes me look forward to the future. Her career, her life, simply the way she thinks about the world completely erases for me the notion that life ever stops being as full of potential, excitement, and love as it always was. The future—the entire future—is bright, and Norma is proof.
