Hi, I’m Shani

I’m the host of A Single Serving Podcast and the author of A Single Revolution. I’m changing the narrative around being single, because so far it’s had pretty bad PR. I’m not an advocate for singlehood. I’m an advocate for women feeling good while single—there’s a difference.

Podcast Episode: A Fight At Arby's

If there’s one thing my work in the single space has shown me, it’s that friendship is a far more joyous focus than dating will ever be. Our cravings to belong, to have someone (many someones) care about us and support us are, at least in my experience, beautifully fulfilled with friendship and community. When I first came across Petty, Single, & Always Late, I was immediately drawn to the friendship between Bitsy and Weston, its hosts. They are a delightful, refreshingly real pair of besties whose love for each other is effortlessly evident. In this episode, we’ll talk about the role friendship plays in single life, and also yeah one time they got in a fight with other patrons at Arby’s. This is a fun one.

Fun fact! I was also a guest on PSA! You can listen to me as a guest on Bitsy and Weston’s podcast here.
