Hi, I’m Shani

I’m the host of A Single Serving Podcast and the author of A Single Revolution. I’m changing the narrative around being single, because so far it’s had pretty bad PR. I’m not an advocate for singlehood. I’m an advocate for women feeling good while single—there’s a difference.

All The Books On My "Life Changing" Shelf

All The Books On My "Life Changing" Shelf

During this incredibly isolating and quite frankly batshit time in our lives, I know we’ve all been prone to organization and de-cluttering projects. I mean, what the hell else are we going to do? The first project I tackled some three weeks ago was my bookshelf. I moved into this apartment last June and very haphazardly stashed my books away. It was a large but productive task to organize them…somewhat. The key component of course is my top shelf, what I’ve been referring to as my “life changing” books. There are lots of other volumes throughout my living room that I absolutely treasure, but these are the books that really made the top tier. I reviewed this list during a recent Facebook Live stream for my podcast’s Facebook group, and perhaps will reprise that role in the near future, depending on how long this damned quarantine lasts.

Below, the full list of books ok my Life Changing shelf, I highly recommend them all, specifically to my single lady listeners but really for anyone who loves to read. xoxo
